Today at Shutter Sisters, the post is about change. Farrah Braniff talks about how becoming a mother has given her a gift. I think the biggest change I have gone through is moving to Florida. It's something that I had never thought would happen. I never liked heat. I thought I was a winter person. But circumstances happened and we had a choice. It wasn't much of a choice, move to Florida with a job, or stay in Michigan without one.
We embraced the change. Mostly. As an architect, it feels like failure to move into a suburban tract house. But again, there were few choices. We had 3 days to find a house and new seemed the way to go.
So much has happened in these nine years. Too much for one post. I am still learning and growing and changing. This has definitely been a big fork in the road. I think we made the right choice.
