view from my plate

When my dad is here, he takes over the kitchen table with his laptop. Other things piled up. Saturday nights, he puts away his laptop so we could have breakfast on Sunday mornings. Because the breakfast room faces southeast with big windows, my dad has the curtains drawn so no glare would bother his solitaire games. When I started doing POTD, I realized this would be a great spot to photograph with the natural light. So after my dad left in April, I cleared off the table and opened the curtains. The sun is high enough that it doesn't come in the house much in the summer. I had loads of fun taking photos here. But, I am lazy and most of the objects ended up here as you can see. As I was eating dinner, while reading a book, I looked up and saw all this stuff! And the one spot I did keep clear is now taken over by Ryan play-doh kit. No wonder I am not inspired to take photos these days. ;)
