new shoes

My big guy is growing TOO fast. I was hoping his tennis shoes would last through the end of the school year but his look worn and frayed. The problem is that he is wearing a size 7 and size 8 is men's. And since he never learned to tie shoes, the pickin's are way slim unless we want velcro which will make him look like a dorky old man. So I ordered some Van's. I love the green & blue plaid (green, see I stayed on theme!) though there were SO many to choose from. Andy didn't even have to look twice, I showed him the shoes and he tossed of his old tennies and put these on (OK, it wasn't that easy and it was tough to get these on. I think his arch may be too high like his father's.) then went biking. Getting him to to stand still to get a photo was a laugh.
