Because our summers are dang hot, Floridians tend to stay indoors. Or they only venture outside to go swimming. The nature parks don’t see much action except from the ginormous mosquitos.
But now that the temperatures are cooling down. people are out and about. We can now enjoy nature without being its food source. This was our first visit to Hillsborough River State Park. It won’t be our last.
Ahhh, this looks so peaceful and refreshing! It was a brisk and invigorating 30 degrees here this morning, which is unusual for Seattle! Glad skeeter season is over for you.
active spot – enjoy the outdoors. We had snow this morning – very Christmasie but I can foresee our outdoor time coming to an end because of damp cold weather.
Great shot. This looks like a very peaceful place.
I like your processing of this. It makes the photo seem so “timeless” and appealing.
I hear you about the hot summers, except since it is so dry here, we just ignore the heat until its about 105 :) That river looks peaceful.
