I do this almost every week. Sunday morning rolls along and I realize it’s a new week and I don’t know what the theme is this week. And it’s poor planning on my part since I can’t just pop out anywhere to take some shots. I have to plan these things and get the boys (ie Ryan) on board so they will not complain. I saw the theme and cringed. Landscapes?! I don’t have any of those, at least not recently. Did I take any during the photo walk? No, not really. Well, I can look further back in my library. I click on July, just to see, and see the clouds. I love clouds. Hmm… cloudscapes? Why not. I checked and there is no theme for clouds. So…

Hey, cloudscapes are landscapes, as far as I am concerned! I’m with you–I don’t get a chance to get out much and shoot, either, so I will be hit and miss on theme this week. I really like the way the clouds seem to be lined up on either side of the road…very cool!!

Lovely shot – I believe the sky makes the difference between a good and a WOW landscape shot.

Works for me! There is land in this shot too, LOL! It is beautiful, I can almost feel the sun on my face and the soft summer breeze… :)
Very nice leading lines. . . .and the clouds look like a landscape to me! If I am on theme this week, I’ll probably have to dig back too. . . unless I want a shot of the interstate or a field. . . .
