This is a portion of a wall at the Florida Aquarium. For $50, you can paint a tile and have it displayed.

    I LOVE stuff like that–I love seeing ordinary people’s work, especially kids’ stuff. How fun!

    Very cool idea! I get one of these from my kid’s school each year with a picture of their artwork on it with the intention of retiling my laundry room walls some day!

    A little pricey – could color a picture and post it at Chili’s for a similar sense of accomplishment. However, neat idea and certainly ‘public art’. Did you do it?

    What a difference all that color makes to the wall, it looks so much prettier than the plain areas. :)

    The other side of the fan blades was a medium oak shade. I just put the “new” blades on, it looks great!
