Maze is a sculpture by Alice Aycock. It was installed in 2000. You can read about it at the USF Public Art Program. The trees have grown so most of it is in shadow. And there is a building going up where there was one a parking lot. There is no approach to this, no sense of arrival. And the name, Maze, I expected something interactive. You could not even approach the sculpture without walking on the grass.

I would expect something interactive, also. I wonder what this looks like from above?
It looks like how you describe- how do I approach this??
I like the sculpture but it does look sort of neglected. I wonder how the artist feels about it?
Very interesting,, and I to expected something interactive. Great shot!
Hodgepodge might be a better name. Looks somewhat like my junk drawer – which can be a maze to rummage through in order to find anything. Your area is chocked full of sculptures.
Interesting, I agree that it should be interactive. Love the pp;ing! :)
Hmm very interesting, why don’t we have anything cool like this in my city?~ Maybe I just need to explore more.
Cool sculpture – thanks for sharing!
